In this new book, he comes back to narrate as to how the IB, in order to prove its false theory, not only interfered in the investigations of the case at every stage, but also employed its tremendous clout and, with the help of a section of the media and the Police, successfully pulled it through the corridors of the courts and ultimately kicked it to its final destination, i.e., the gallows. The book also describes the shrewd moves on the part of the IB to scuttle all attempts to get the case reinvestigated. The author has expressed his serious concern over the unbridled powers being enjoyed by the IB, an extra-constitutional authority, to the extent of influencing almost all our constitutional institutions. However, he has ended the book on an optimistic note — pinning his hopes on the judiciary.

Hindutva terror has finally emerged. It was on 6 April, 2006 when Nanded witnessed a bomb blast at the house of Laxman Rajkondwar, a longtime RSS activist, killing his son and another Sangh activist. The blast brought to the fore the systematic manner in which people associated with RSS and allied outfits were engaged in making and storing explosives, imparting arms training and planning to bomb minorities as part of their mission to establish Hindu Rashtra in India. Five years later, investigating agencies are in the know of the involvement of Hindutva supremacists in dozens of earlier and later blasts like Malegaon and Samjhauta Express. The role of international linkages and networks of different Hindutva formations in collecting funds, mobilising resources and supporting the cause has added further ferocity to this project. The present book, the first comprehensive treatment of the subject, shows that Hindutva terror is not a mere regional or rare phenomenon. राज्य और राज्यविहीन तत्त्वों द्वारा राजनीतिक हिंसा या आतंकवाद का एक लम्बा इतिहास भारत में रहा है। इस आरोप ने कि भारतीय मुसलमान आतंकवाद में लिप्त हैं, 1990 के दशक के मध्य में हिंदुत्ववादी शक्तियों के उभार के साथ ज़ोर पकड़ा और केंद्र में भाजपा की सत्ता के ज़माने में राज्य की विचारधारा बन गया। यहाँ तक कि “सेक्यूलर” मीडिया ने सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के स्टेनोग्राफ़र की भूमिका अपना ली और मुसलमानों के आतंकवादी होने का विचार एक स्वीकृत तथ्य बन गया | हद यह कि बहुत-से मुसलमान भी इस झूठे प्रोपेगण्डे पर विश्वास करने लगे। पूर्व वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी एस.एम. मुशरिफ़ ने, जिन्होंने तेलगी घोटाले का भंडाफोड़ किया था, इस प्रचार-परदे के पीछे नज़र डाली है, और इसके लिए सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र व अपने लम्बे पुलिस अनुभव से प्राप्त ज़्यादातर जानकारियों (शोध-सामग्री) का उपयोग किया है। उन्होंने कुछ चौंकाने वाले तथ्यों को उजागर किया है, और अपनी तरह का पहला उनका यह विश्लेषण तथाकथित “इस्लामी आतंकवाद” के पीछे वास्तविक तत्त्वों को बेनक़ाब करता है। ये वही शक्तियां हैं जिन्होंने महाराष्ट्र ए टी एस के प्रमुख हेमंत करकरे की हत्या की, जिसने उन्हें बेनक़ाब करने का साहस किया और अपनी हिम्मत व सत्य के लिए प्रतिबद्धता की क़ीमत अपनी जान देकर चुकाई। यह पुस्तक भारत में “इस्लामी आतंकवाद” से जोड़ी गयीं कुछ बड़ी घटनाओं पर एक कड़ी नज़र डालती है और उन्हें आधारहीन पाती है।

ब्लास्ट कर के मुसलमानों पर दोष डालने का ब्राह्मणवादी खेल—-अत्यंत लोकप्रिय पुस्तक ‘करकरे के हत्यारे कौन?’ और ‘26/11 की जांच—न्यायपालिका भी क्यों नाकाम रही?’ के लेखक, पूर्व शीर्ष पुलिस अधिकारी एसएम मुशरिफ़ की यह एक और किताब है। इस किताब का विषय है देश भर में होनेवाले बम धमाकों के पीछे ब्राह्मणवादी छल-प्रपंच और बेगुनाह मुसलमानों पर दोष मढ़ना। अदालतों में दायर कई आरोपपत्रों और उनके द्वारा दिए गए कुछ महत्वपूर्ण निर्णयों की शब्द-दर-शब्द जांच के बाद, और प्रासंगिक अवधियों की प्रेस कतरनों के एक विशाल संग्रह को देखने के बाद, लेखक इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचे हैं कि 2002 के बाद से अधिकांश बम विस्फोटों में आरएसएस, अभिनव भारत, बजरंग दल, जय वंदे मातरम, सनातन संस्था आदि जैसे ब्राह्मणवादी संगठनों का हाथ था। लेकिन आईबी, एनआईए और राज्यों में आतंकवाद निरोधक दस्तों ने, ब्राह्मणवादी तत्वों के सक्रिय समर्थन और मीडिया द्वारा ब्राह्मणवादियों की ओर इशारा करनेवाले महत्वपूर्ण सुराग़ों को जान-बूझकर दबाने के लिए बेगुनाह मुसलमानों पर आरोप लगाया। यहां तक कि कुछ अदालतें भीं प्रभावित हुईं। कुछ अदालतें मीडिया के प्रचार से प्रभावित थीं तो कुछ अभियोजन पक्ष द्वारा गुमराह। लेखक ने सुझाव दिया है कि यदि ऐसे सभी मामलों का पुनरावलोकन कुछ वरिष्ठ न्यायिक अधिकारियों द्वारा किया जाए और उनमें से संदिग्ध लोगों की एक स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष एजेंसी द्वारा पुन: जांच की जाए, तो यह पता चलेगा कि इन सभी घटनाओं में ब्राह्मणवादी संलिप्त हैं, उन घटनाओं में भी, जिनमें मुसलमानों को दोषी ठहराया जा चुका है और सज़ा सुनाई जा चुकी है।

हमारा देश भारत अपनी गंगा-जमुनी संस्कृति एवं साम्प्रदायिक सौहार्द के लिए प्रसिद्ध रहा है, परन्तु कुछ असामाजिक तत्त्व इसकी इस विशेषता को समाप्त कर यहां के वातावरण में नफ़रत और साम्प्रदायिकता का ज़हर घोलने का प्रयास भारत-विभाजन के पहले ही से करते रहे हैं और आज उनकी ये कोशिशें अपने चरम पर हैं। प्रस्तुत पुस्तक ‘संघी आतंकवाद’ के लेखक युगल किशोर शरण शास्त्री चूँकि स्वयं भी एक लम्बे समय तक संघ-प्रचारक रह चुके हैं, इसलिए उन्होंने संघ की इस वैमनस्यपूर्ण तथा विघटनकारी मानसिकता को बहुत क़रीब से जाना और पूरी निर्भीकता के साथ, मुखर रूप से अपनी इस पुस्तक में प्रस्तुत किया है। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने इन असामाजिक तत्त्वों द्वारा इस्लाम के बारे में फैलायी जा रही ग़लतफ़हमियों को भी दूर करने का प्रयास किया है। यह पुस्तक संघी आतंकवाद की मानसिकता को समझने तथा उसके बारे में लेखक के मुखर एवं स्पष्टवादी विचारों को जानने के लिए अवश्य पढ़ी जा सकती है।
