Return, Exchange, Refund and Cancellation

We request our customers to please choose/select items carefully, check Descriptions, Price, Quantity, language of the book, etc. before placing orders to avoid inconvenience to both you and us. The cost of shipping, packaging, return shipping and risk of damage of product in transit are serious concerns.

Please always give your complete address with landmarks and correct pincode. Short addresses increase the risk of the packet being returned by the postman / courier guy. Try to give an alternative number and it is good to inform others at the address about your order, so that even in your absence there is not problem in delivery, specially for Cash on Delivery orders. We do not process orders of customers who have bothered us in the past.

We do not offer returns or exchanges without reason. We will solely decide the merit of the case.

Pharos Media and Publishing Pvt Ltd takes extreme care that products that shipped to our customers are in good condition. All the Books ordered through us are checked to assure its quality. We carefully pack your order to ensure safe delivery.

If you find any manufacturing error in our products, like torn pages, missing text, binding error (wrong volume binding) etc. you must notify within 2 working days of receiving it along with pictures as proof of the defect, we will send a replacement. If that Item is not available in stock then we will issue refund to the customer within 2 working days or issue a credit note for future purchase.

If you have received your packet in bad condition due to mishandling in transit during shipping, please take pictures before opening the packet report within 2 days. We will either replace it or refund the item cost within 2 working days or issue a credit note for future purchase.

In some cases if the book is still readable or the products are useable, we may offer a discount.

In some cases you will have to first return the book first in order to get a refund or replacement.

If for any reason we receive the order (parcel) back, then we can only send the order again if the customer requests and pay the shipping charges for re-sending OR we can refund the amount of products ordered only. This happen rarely due to any reasons like Moved, attempted-not known, undelivered, unclaimed, insufficient address etc.) Please note that the shipping cost would not be credited/refunded in cases where the packet was returned by the postman or courier company as your house of locked or no one was available.

On the merit of the case we might bear the cost of return shipping.

If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, you are entitled for a full refund, which will be initiated within 2 working days.

If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, then your refund will be processed only after you do not accept the delivery and the packet is return to us. We will detect shipping and packaging charges while refunding. Refund will be initiated within 2 working days of receipt of unopened returned packet.

Ordering at our store means that the customer have read the above & agrees to the terms and condition etc.
