This User Agreement governs the use of this website by Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd. Your use of the Service will constitute your agreement to comply with these rules. If you do not agree with the rules contained in this Agreement, please do not use the Service.
The Owner is an Indian company, based in India and is rendering worldwide service from India, even though the Sites’ address(es) may be located elsewhere. However, the entire management and all the business activities including providing the contents of the website, service, information, materials, data, etc., are organized, updated and maintained by the Owner from India and are controlled from India.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
By being permitted to use this Service, you expressly and unreservedly accept the entire terms and conditions of this contract without any modification or reservation and only thereupon will you be permitted to use the Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd sites and the Services, irrespective of where you or your organization are located. This Agreement is for an indefinite term. Either party can terminate for any reason at any time.
Unless otherwise stated, copyright or similar rights in all material presented on the Sites, including graphical images, is owned by Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd. Any use of that content, including, but not limited to, copying, reproduction, distribution, publication, display, modification, creation of derivative works, transmission, or any other exploitation, in any medium, is strictly prohibited unless express written and signed consent for such use has been obtained from Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd or from the third party content provider.
Use of PharosMedia.com is available only to those individuals who can form legally binding contracts under Indian Contract Act, 1872. Individual who are “incompetent to contract” within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 including minors, un-discharged insolvents etc. are not eligible to use Pharos Media. If you are a minor i.e. under the age of 18 years, you shall not register and shall not transact on or use Pharos Media. If you are a minor and wish to use or transact on Pharos Media, such use or transaction may be made by your legal guardian or parents on Pharos Media. Pharos Media reserves the right to terminate your membership and / or decline to provide access to Pharos Media, if it is brought to Pharos Media’s notice or if it is discovered that you are minor.
Registration and Account Obligations: if “You” use Pharos Media website, the onus of maintaining the confidentiality of your Display Name and Password is on you. You shall be responsible for all actions that occur under your Display Name and Password. You agree that if You provide any information that is inaccurate, untrue, not current or incomplete or We have reasonable information to suspect that such information is inaccurate, untrue, not current or incomplete, or not in accordance with the Terms of Use mentioned here, We shall have the authority to indefinitely suspend or terminate of your membership on Pharos Media and refuse to provide “You” with access.
Membership and browsing on Pharos Media is free for buyers and visitors. Pharos Media does not charge any membership fee for browsing and buying on the Pharos Media. Pharos Media reserves the right to change its Fee Policy anytime without giving any prior notice to this effect.
Octroi, Customs and duties: All items entering a state or foreign country are subject to octroi or customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country’s national laws. Customs duties and taxes are assessed, generally, if the merchandise is dutiable (generally Books are exempted) and the value of the item is above the threshold set by the country’s laws. If duties and taxes are assessed on an item mailed via the Postal Service, they are collected from the recipient. In addition, for most countries, there is an administrative fee that is collected from the recipient to cover the costs of clearing the item through customs and collecting duties and taxes. Please note: Pharos Media cannot be held responsible for any import fees, customs fees, import taxes, or other types of charges which a recipient may incur. This may be either through a private courier company or through your local postal system.

They do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making (or refraining from making) any decision. Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd makes no warranty that the contents of the Sites are free from infection by viruses or anything else which has contaminating or destructive properties.
Solely to authorize Pharos Media to use the information you supply with, so that we are not violating any rights, you might have in your Information, you agree to grant Pharos Media a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers) right to exercise the copyright, publicity, database rights or any other rights you have in your Information, in any media now known or not currently known, with respect to your information. We will only use your details according to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy applicable to use of Pharos Media.
Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd makes no warranty, representation or guaranty that the sites material will be uninterrupted or error-free or that any defects can or will be corrected.
Prices are subject to change any time. Incorrect/old prices may have been listed here. Contact us for correct and current prices. All books listed may not be available at the time one orders them.
Pharos Media we do not warrant that Product/Books description or other content on Pharos Media is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free and assumes no liability in this regard.
Certain links on the Sites lead to resources located on servers maintained by third parties over whom Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd has no control. Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any of the material contained on those servers (or their service patterns).
We reserve the right to add to or change the terms of this Agreement without prior notice. Any changes will be posted to this page, and it is your responsibility as a user to refer to the terms on accessing this service each time. Changes could be made by us after the first posting to the Sites and you will be deemed to have accepted any change if you continue to access the Sites after that time.
Certain elements of the Sites will contain material submitted by users. Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of such material, or for any legal or financial obligation for accepting such material.
Part of the Sites will contain advertising and other material submitted to Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd by third parties. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Sites complies with International and National laws. Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd will not be responsible for any advertiser’s claim error, omission or inaccuracy in advertising material, and reserves the right to omit, suspend or change the position of any advertising material submitted for insertion. Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd does not endorse in any way any advertisers’ claims on the Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd sites.

You agree to indemnify and hold Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers or other partners, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the service, your connection to the service, your violation of the terms of service, or your violation of any rights of another third party connected to the sites in any capacity.
Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd shall have absolutely no liability in connection with the Sites material including any liability for damage to your computer hardware or software, data, information, materials, or business resulting from the information or the lack of information available on the Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd Sites.
Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt Ltd shall have no Liability for (a) any loss or injury caused, in whole or in part, by its actions, omissions, or negligence, or for contingencies beyond its control, in procuring, compiling, or delivering the site material; (b) any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in or relating to the site material regardless of how caused, or delays or interruptions in delivery; (c) any decision made or action taken or not taken in reliance upon the site material; (d) any losses or damages whatsoever, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, from the use of, or reliance on the site material or from the use of the internet generally.
